Volar Robotics originates from research conducted at the Robotics Laboratory, DIAG — Dipartimento di Ingegneria Informatica, Automatica e Gestionale of Sapienza Università di Roma. The company holds spin-off status recognised by the University.
Corporate Objective
The exclusive or prevalent corporate objective is the development, production, and commercialisation of innovative products and services with high technological value in the field of aerial robotics with physical interaction capabilities, with a particular focus on tactile sensing, manipulation, and human–robot collaboration.
Research & Development
Volar Robotics invests a significant share of its expenditure in research, development, and innovation activities. At least one founder holds a PhD-level qualification in a relevant scientific or technological field.
